The book was a sample purchased by Mr. James Lees from Lawrence, he was to go door to door selling this book to everyday people. The inside cover page has hand written entry:
To: James Lees, Sept 18th 1894, he writes "Friends I don't Think". also dated 1896.

A booklet/2002-2003 engagement calendar illustrating the brief history of the churches of Greater Lawrence. About 110 churches both past and present are described, a single page with photograph or illustration and brief history for each church. The booklet was the work of the Greater Lawrence Council of Churches, Inc.

A biography of William Madison Wood detailing his Portuguese family roots, his early apprenticeships, his rise to power as a leading industrialist. The book also delves into his personal triumphs and tragedies. Much is dedicated to his association with Lawrence and Andover.
