The father died on April 11, 1906 at the age of 45 and the son died a week earlier at the age of 8 at 6 Boylston St, Methuen MA. They're buried at Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence MA - Sec. 10, Lot 4066. The description and the signature at the back "F. A. Mar1, 1987" could have been by Frederick Arold, who donated the drawing. A pocket at the back of the holds a business card of Frederick Arold ("A Grandson of Paul"), Regional Program Advisor of the New York State Educate Department. Mentioned on the reverse of the card is Paul Herman Arold 1887-1969, Son of Herman - 2nd Owner or 6 Boylston St who could have been the Artist of this drawing. The faces of the father and son look grim. Also has a tag "Arold #18".
