Police Ambulance, 1890's. Text reads: " Police Ambulance in the Early Nineties This was the only vehicle attached to the department until the first patrol wagon was acquired in 1894. The ambulance was reserved for accident cases and, before the patrol was acquired, officers bringing in prisoners had to command some passing team."
