"The Repository and the 100,000 seats. Eucharistic Congress. Quebec. June 1938. The Repository is composed of three platforms and a dome in the form of a royal diadem which rises to a height of 125 feet. The altar is raised 25 feet above the ground. Three thousand seats are placed upon the platform of the Repository and are reserved for high ecclesiastical dignitaries, members of the clergy and for the laity who are assisting in the ceremonies of the Congress. The architectural plans are the work of M. Philippe Cote. The altar is erected on the third platform, upon it the monstrance radiates its scintillating beams."
