Manufacturing Workforce, Arlington Mills. Rockingham Park outing, June 20, 1914. Two elderly men are pictured sitting on a porch. The sit on wooden chairs and wear formal attire. The man on the left wears a bow tie, has glasses, and holds an umbrella. The man on the right also holds an umbrella and wears a regular tie. Behind them is a large porch. Some windows and doors can be seen. The gentleman on the left is Mr. Charles Wainwright (1843-1934). He was the paymaster of the Arlington Mill. Wainwright was a Civil War Veteran originally from Vermont. He lived on Bellevue Street in Lawrence and was related to the Alexander B. Bruce family through marriage
