Basket, Lunch

Basket woven of wooden slats with hinged top and two hinged carrying handles. The donor says the basket was made by William Sarksnas to carry his lunch to work while he worked at the Wood Mill from about 1906 to the early 1950s. . The lunch basket was called the "Roach Carousel." The Wood Mill was being built while he was working there. He worked in the drawing room. Repairs have been made to the basket.
