3 button holers for spats from Woodman's Shoe Store, Lawrence, MA. The first buttonhook (1) is metal, with an oval loop at one end. and a flat handle decorated in a filigree design at the other end. One side of the item's handle reads : WOODMAN'S SHOE STORE. The other side reads : 279 - 81 ESSEX STREET LAWRENCE, MASS.
The second buttonhook (2) is similar though not as decorated and pretty as the first. It also has a loop at one end and a flat handle at the other. end which reads : THE WOODMAN SHOE . The reverse side of the handle reads : LAWRENCE, MASS.
The third hook (3) is smaller in length and width. and it also plain. The handle reads on one side : CAMDEN STREET LAUNDRY and on the other , LAWRENCE, MASS.
used: Used to fasten buttons on spats, boots.
