A clear glass, shot glass with white lettering and an image. The lettering reads : ADOLPH G BOEHM'S CAFE LAWRENCE, MASS. An American flag is imposed over the " G. "The image of the cafe is beneath Adolph Boehm's name. Adolph Boehm was an importer and a bottler. He sold Rhine wines, liquor, ale, porter, lager, and beer and was an agent for Anheuser Hinckel and Cold Spring lager. The cafe was located at 78, 82, and 84 Essex Street, Lawrence, Mass. An advertisement in the Lawrence directory of 1914 lists Matthes and Boehm as proprietors. The donor of the item is Richard T. Kiessling of Methuen.
