Commemorative Medallion with red, white and blue cloth ribbon.

A brass colored pin is attached at the top and reads: PRO PATRTIA

Attached to the pin is a red, white and blue grosgraine ribbon.

Hanging from the ribbon is a round, brass medal with an image of a female holding a sheaf of wheat and an eagle perched by her leg. The inscription around the image reads: UNITED STATES FORCES 1917 - 1919

On the reverse side of the medal it reads : PRESENTEE PAR LA FEDERATION DES SOCIETES FRANCO AMERICAINES EN RECONNAISSANCE DE LA PART PRISE DANS LA GUERRE UNIVERSELLE 1914 - 19 19RANCO AMERICAINES

In a circle surrounded by oak leaves and containing a bird and a banner it reads : L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE

Beneath that reads: LAWRENCE, MASS

The medal is in fine shape but the ribbon is showing considerable wear.
