The word - STERLING - is stamped inside as well as another undecipherable word, perhaps the manufacturer. The donor of the ring is Mary O'Hearn Armitage of North Andover. She grew up in Lawrence and her father, John A. O'Hearn, worked at the Eagle Tribune.
