This is one piece of a two - piece shaving set made of white ceramic and decorated with blue trim. This piece is a shaving bowl that has blue filigree trim around the rim and the monogram : LHS in a circle surrounded by leaves. The base of the bowl reads: SYLVIA SHENANGO CHINA NEWCASTLE, PA MADE FOR L. BARTH & SON NEW YORK. The letters LHS refer to Lawrence High School . The object was donated by William Schwartz, an alumnus of the high school., class of 1952.
