A round glass jar with no cap or lid. The front of the jar has an oval paper label that is green, red, black, yellow and white. The label reads : BEARDSLEY'S - ACME - SLICED DRIED BEEF - J.W. BEARDSLEY'S SONS - NEW YORK, U.S.A. - TO OPEN THE JAR PUNCTURE THE TOP - U.S. INSPECTED AND PASSED - UNDER THE ACT OF CONGRESS, JUNE 30TH 1906, ESTABLISHMENT NO. 313. In raised lettering on the bottom it reads: J.W. BEARDSLEYS SONS - NEW YORK USA - 90SS - PAT FEB 10.03. This item is from the Hamblet family.
