Pin, Lapel
A lapel pin made of gold and decorated with blue, white and red enamels. Around the edge of the rectangular shaped , heptagonal pin , it reads : LAWRENCE GENERAL HOSPITAL AID ASSN. 2000, written in gold lettering on a white background. The middle of the pin has a blue background. There is an eagle atop a shield. There are four images in the shield. Beneath the shield is a banner with a the letter - V - over the banner. The pin back has a straight pin attachment with a clasp. The pin back reads : DORRETY - FILLED - BOSTON. The pin was given in recognition of 2000 hours of volunteer service to Lawrence General Hospital. The owner was Kay Hamblet. This pin is part of the Hamblet collection, one of the largest collections at the ICA.
