A large, heavy, embossed, brass commemorative coin that commemorates the inauguration of President Lyndon Baines Johnson. The front of the coin has a raised profile image of President Johnson. Along the bottom edge of the image is the sculptor's name , Gilroy Roberts, 1963. Around the edge of the coin are the words: LYNDON B. JOHNSON.
The back of the coin has the United States presidential seal . It reads PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES The date reads : NOVEMBER 22, 1963. Beneath the seal are the words ; WE WILL SERVE ALL THE NATION - A UNITED PEOPLE WITH A UNITED PURPOSE - LYNDON B. JOHNSON. The donor was David Burke of Lawrence.
