A pretty , pink and white decorative ceramic plate trimmed with gold and a black image of Lawrence buildings. The plate has a scalloped pink border with gold trim. In the center of the plate is an image of buildings along the Common. The wording reads : 1ST UNIVERSALIST CHURCH, OLIVER AND HIGH SCHOOLS, LAWRENCE, MASS. the back of the plate reads : MADE IN GERMANY L.C.MOORE & CO. LAWRENCE, MASS. the donor of the plate is David Burke of Lawrence, MA. The 1892 City Directory states that Leonard C. Moore had a bargain emporium located at 302 -310 Essex Street. His home was at 5 Kendrick Street.
