Placed in the lower right corner of the picture is a small mercury- style thermometer. In the upper left corner, printed in black letters , it reads : WHERE YOU FIND STYLE MRS. J. GIUSTI ELM ST. DRY GOODS STORE 169-171 ELM ST. LAWRENCE, MASS. BUS. PHONE 23798 - RES. PHONE 23021. The picture is enclosed in a silver/gold colored frame, covered with a piece of glass. On the reverse side there is a typed piece of yellow paper that reads : (1930) JEANNIE GIUSTI DRY GOOD STORE 169 - 171 ELM ST. GIVEN TO THE SAMMATARO FAMILY 84 MAPLE ST. DONOR ALPHONSE A. SAMMATARO. Also taped on to the back is a copy of the obituary of Jeannie Giusti Loffredo , who died on October 28, 1993.
