A round, clear glass bottle with a paper label and no cap or lid. The paper label reads : COLD SPRING EXTRA LESS THAN 1/2 OF 1% ALCOHOL CONTENTS 12 1/2 FLUID OZ. A NON - INTOXICATING BEVERAGE MADE AND BOTTLED BY THE COLD SPRING BR'G COMPONY - 609 SOUTH UNION ST., LAWRENCE, MASS. There is also an image of a flowing spring amid trees and hills. The marking on the bottom reads : BB7. The donor of the item was David Burke. Cold Spring Brewery originated in 1895 and closed in 1952. August Stiegler was the treasurer and F.E. Stowell was the president. They brewed lager, stock ale and porter and made soft drinks during Prohibition.
