A three piece medal made of brass colored metal and blue and red enamel paint found on West Street in Lawrence, MA. There is no mention of Lawrence on the medal.
The top piece is a bar with a crest on the top. The lettering is gold on a blue enamel background and reads : ALLIANCE NATIONALE
The next bar is attached by chain and the gold lettering on a blue enamel background reads : FONDEE EN 1892
The third piece is a medal which is made of gold colored metal with blue and red enamel trim. On the top between two maple leaves it reads: VINCIT CONCORDIA FRATRUM
Beneath the lettering is a crest with a beaver on the top. The three symbols on the crest are : a RED CROSS ON A GOLD BACKGROUND; A GOLD BEEHIVE ON A BLUE BACKGROUND. Beneath those two images is the image of a HANDSHAKE.
On the back of the medal it reads: R. HEMSLEY MONTREAL
