A metal pin decorated with red, white and blue enamel paint. The donor says the jewelry was used during Wold War II. She refers to this pin as a " Bundles for Britain" award pin.
The pin has a shield in the center with a red, white and blue bow behind the shield.
The shield ( or crest) has a crown on the top. An image of a lion is in the center. Words in French appear around the lion.
The words read : DIEU ET MON DROIT
The pin back contains the pin attachment . Also an impression with , perhaps, the manufacturer's information is located on the left side of the back. It is very difficult to read.
The connection to Lawrence is unknown. The donor , Flora Harrison of Methuen , suggests the pin is from the 1940's and has a connection to a person, Father Charles Angell.
