Correspondence with Documentation
Series contains a wide variety of records from 1846-1986 that the Essex Company filed by topic. Subjects are varied and include documentation about various mills and other companies with which the Essex Company had business. In addition to correspondence about the various subjects are included legal documents, memoranda, data, and blueprints.
notes: Most records were originally housed in business-sized envelopes, and the documents were tri- or quad-folded to fit. The topic of the materials was written on the outside of the envelope. When possible, the cover of the envelope was photocopied and included with the materials.
