Manuscript
Manuscript - The paper deals with risk management in the Outward Bound Program. It gives the background for Outward Bound from the WWII experiences; Kurt Hahn in Scotland ;Outward Bound School in Colorado. It discusses early serious accidents and some fatalities in the early program. It speaks about coping with and managing the risk of a desperate situation. He concludes how this type of experience and education can offer "at risk" youth a view of philosophy of service and a reverence for human life and hopefully some alternative choices.
