Manuscript - The author speaks about his experience in Scotland at a croft, watching nature and wondering about the genetic parental instincts in animals and he relates this to human behavior. He concludes, " I would recommend to all of you such an experience. Strip away many of the camouflaging complexities of day to day living. I thought about "chips" [ as in genetic chips] and "cues" and the instinct to detect right for wrong without having to intellectualize. Whether you take refuge in a croft, monastery, or a wilderness adventure, it will renew you, and set you, too, to wondering. "
