A photo of a group of men in front of a banner "Lawrence C. & A. A. Champions 1909". The men are posing with a championship cup. Researching the listing of Clubs in the 1909 Lawrence Directory we find a club called Lawrence Cricket and Athletic Association. Most of the men in the photo are wearing white uniforms which is common for Cricket players. Two of the men standing (far left and right) are holding small black balls, again indicative of a Cricket ball.
