This is a photograph of the Lincoln Foods building identified for destruction. Written on the back is "This is my favorite image in the Assassination Series. I intend to try and use a variation on this shot for Millies Graphics. There is a symmetry to it that is wonderful, it is appropriate in many ways for the film's content and characters.
It is also the quintessential symbol of this exhibit, a perfectly innocent place standing there minding it's own business for 108 years and awaiting a rescue that would never come. Lincoln Foods smiles a door-toothed grin for the camera; it doesn't know it has the dreaded X on it that is too often the American symbol for yet another historic place not worth saving".
