Folder Newbury Street School. This folder contains the following items: (a) Massachusetts Historical Commission Inventory Form which contains a brief description of the Newbury School; (b) a photocopy of page 23 from the Superintendent's Report contained in the Lawrence City Documents of 1886-1887 which reports that the Newbury Street Schoolhouse was built during the municipal year, ending March 1, 1850.

Folder North School. This folder contains a March 27, 1985, Lawrence Eagle Tribune article "Construction Begins on New North School" which was built on the site of the Arlington School.

Folder Oliver School. Information for the Oliver School is contained in the Oliver School subject box.

Folder Packard School. This folder contains the following items: (a) Packard School Order of Exercises dated June 26, 1880. This program lists the order of exercises for the graduating class as well as a list of those promoted to the high school. (1981.001.071); (b) "Admissions and Discharges Packard School" dated 1890-1911. This ledger contains an alphabetized list of students enrolled at the Packard School from 1890-1911.  Each page is organized with the following categories: Date of Birth, Parent Name, Residence, Occupation of Parent, Grade Level, Previous School, Grade When Discharged, Date When Discharged, Remarks (1990.083.002) (c) a photocopied Evening Tribune newspaper clipping dated January 15, 1929, "Beloved Teacher is Laid at Rest". This article reports on the funeral of Packard School teacher Marie Dempsey which was held at St. Patrick's Church; (d) an enlarged picture from a postcard depicting the Packard School; (e) a photocopy of an undated photograph of the Packard School.

Folder Park Street School. This folder contains a copy of an undated photograph of the the Park Street School.

Folder Edward F. Parthum School. This folder contains the following items: (a) a program for the Grade 8 Final Assembly dated June 24, 2005 which includes the names of the Parthum School 8th grade teachers and a list of names of the Class of 2005; (b) A photocopy of a citation dated January 31, 2008,  from Mayor Michael J. Sullivan, Superintendent Wilfredo T. Laboy and the Lawrence School Committee to Tiffany Johnson to thank her for entertaining students at the Parthum School; (c) a navy blue, round, rubber key chain fob with "Parthum School" in white lettering.

Folder Pine Grove School. This folder contains a photocopy of page 23 from the Superintendent's Report contained in the Lawrence City Documents of 1886-1887 which reports that the Pine Grove Schoolhouse was built during the municipal year, ending March 1, 1850.

Folder Prospect Street School. This folder contains a copy of an undated photograph of the the Prospect Street School.

Folder Riverside School (Bruce School). This folder contains Riverside School school records, found at the Bruce School, for the years 1910-1915. These records include student names and addresses and enrollment information (2009.102)

Folder John R. Rollins School. This folder contains the following items: (a) copies (2) of a picture of the Rollins School taken from the Lawrence Board of Trade Report for 1895; (b) a booklet "First Grand Reunion/John Rollins School Alumni Association/January 31, 1913". This booklet contains several advertisements for local businesses and a photograph of Hector L. Belisle, Master of the Rollins School from 1900-1913 (2015.051); (c) Gladys Morehouse related documents: a 1927 Rollins School class picture. Please note that this photograph has been removed to Oversized Pictures in the Closed Stacks (2005.049.001), a student workbook belonging to Gladys Morehouse, Grade 5, Room 6 dated 1924 (2005.049.002) and an essay titled "Dairying" by Gladys Morehouse dated June 14, 192? (2005.049.003), an original newspaper clipping of a photograph of the members of the 1927 class at the Rollins Grammar School (2005.049.004), a Rollins School diploma for Gladys Ethel Morehouse, June 30, 1927. Please note that this diploma has been removed to Oversized Items in the Closed Stacks (2005.049.005); (d) newspaper clipping dated June 18, 1955 "Brother and Sister Graduates" with accompanying photographs of Robert Sarcione and Sandra Sarcione, a graduate of the Rollins School; (e) list of Rollins School staff dated May 6, 1991 and a writeup about the Rollins School and staff along with a group photo; (f) Rollins School 100 Year Anniversary related items: a newspaper clipping (photocopy) "Saving Rollins Clock Tower"; a letter requesting donations to preserve the Rollins School clock tower; an internal Rollins School memo requesting assistance in creating a 100 year anniversary quilt; a letter dated February 10, 1992 addressed to President and Mrs. Bush, inviting them to the Centennial Tea at the Rollins School, and a corresponding reply letter, date March 5, 1992 from The White House respectfully declining the invitation; a letter dated March 9, 1992 addressed to MA State Representative Gary Coon, inviting him to the Centennial Tea at the Rollins School; a letter dated March 10, 1992 from Senator Edward M. Kennedy respectfully declining his invitation to the Centennial Tea; invitations (2) addressed to Eartha Dengler, Director and to the Immigrant City Archives Staff for the Centennial Tea and Open House at the Rollins School (1992.001.025); an Eagle Tribune article dated May 18, 1992 "Tea for 600, Rollins Centennial Tea Draws Hundreds to Reminisce" along with an accompanying photograph of a portrait of former principal Claire Kennedy along with her family; letters to the parents of current Rollins School students requesting that the students dress in period costume in commemoration of the 100 year anniversary; an Eagle Tribune article dated April 10, 1992 "Rollins School Turns 100" along with an accompanying photographs of students and staff; a photograph of a poster made by Solon Franklin McQueston, a 1922 graduate of the Rollins School. The poster was donated to the school to be used towards the 100th Anniversary of the Rollins School and appeared in the 1992 Centennial Book. Along with the photograph is a biography of Mr. McQueston (1992.097.001); a letter from Rollins School alums Alan C. Cate '37 and Sarah I. Walton Cate '43 to Rollins School principal Sharman Sullivan dated August 10, 1992. This letter is a recollection of the writers' times as students of the Rollins Schools, the history of the school and the history of its namesake, John R. Rollins; (g) Claire Kennedy related items: Eagle Tribune newspaper articles related to the death of Rollins School principal Claire Kennedy (1992); a letter from Superintendent James F. Scully to Sharman Sullivan advising Ms. Sullivan that she will be assigned as the interim principal at the Rollins School due to the passing of principal Claire Kennedy. Attached to the letter is a memo to the Rollins School staff from James Scully along with a copy of the eulogy he wished to give at the funeral of Claire Kennedy. The letter and memo are dated February 20, 1992; a handwritten letter addressed to "Paul" (may be Paul Archambault, Ms. Kennedy's brother) from Rollins School teacher Jim Burton dated April 16, 1992; (h) a Sunday Eagle Tribune article dated July 12, 1992 "Architect Designed School Especially for Young Children"; (i) "Rollins Chronicle" Newsletter dated Summer 1992; (j) Rollins School "Literacy Through Photography, Writing With Light" photography project created in conjunction with the Addison Gallery dated 1997-1998 (2004.064.001); (k) Rollins School Art Fair photographs dated May 14, 2009; (l) a flyer for "Oldies But Goodies Night" at the Rollins School dated May 6, 2011; (m) a program dated June 14, 2012 for the Rollins School Kindergarten Final Assembly which includes the students' names; (n) a graphic for the Rollins School, 125 Years of Learning; (o)"I left My Heart at the Dear Old Rollins" poem written by Dan Marino; (p) program for the Rollins Early Childhood Center fundraiser dinner (2); (q) various pieces of blank stationery from the Rollins School (2004.061); (r) various photographs of the Rollins School and the National Registry plaque signifying the school as being on the National Registry of Historic Places; (s) an undated photograph (photocopy) of a class at the Rollins School.

Folder Salem Street School. This folder contains a booklet "Leaders of Lawrence, Volume II, 1981" which is a compilation of interviews of Lawrence community leaders conducted by members of the Gifted and Talented Mini-Magnet Program. The interviewees are Joseph Markey, Jack Pavlenkov, Frank Messer and Patrick Schiavone.

Folder South Lawrence East School. This folder contains the following items: (a) a 1995 invitation to the South Lawrence East School dedication which featured Dean John E. Fenton, Jr. as the guest speaker (2) (1995.002.039-2); (b) a copy of the RSVP to the 1995 South Lawrence East Elementary School dedication from Immigrant City Archives research consultant Ken Skulski; (c) a program for the South Lawrence East School dedication (5) ((1995.002.039-1, 1995.142.001a, 1995.142.001b, 1995.159.010); (d) a program for "Charlotte's Web", a musical performed by the students of South Lawrence East School in June, 1996 (1996.248.007); a program for the South Lawrence East School Grade 8 Final Assembly dated June 12, 2002 (2); (e) a 2009 MCAS performance report for Grades 3 and 4 for students at the South Lawrence East School; (f) a program for "South Lawrence East Elementary School, MCAS Magic" dated February 10, 2011 with a list of students who performed Above Proficient or Proficient on the MCAS tests (3); (g) information on TIME, a multistate collaborative which the South Lawrence East School participated in during the 2012-2013 school year; (h) an invitation from the South Lawrence East School to the Schoolwide Curriculum Open House on December 6, 2012.

This folder contains the following items: (a) a profile on 2008 Lawrence Teacher of the Year nominee Nicole Romano, a Grade 4 teacher at the Tarbox School; (b) an issue of Merrimack dated Summer 2008, a publication of Merrimack College featuring a profile of Tarbox School 4th Grade teacher and Teacher of the Year Nominee Nicole Romano, Class of 1993; (c) an undated drawing (photocopy) of the Tarbox School

Folder Union Street School. This folder contains the Union Street School Register for the school years 1882-1884 (1994.227.001)

Folder Walton School (Methuen Street School). This folder contains the following information: (a) a photocopy of a class photograph from the Walton School dated 1883. The teacher, Ms. Nellie L Stoddard is identified in the photograph (1978.024.001); (b) an Eagle Tribune newspaper article dated May 11, 1997, "Fanciful Brick Facade is a Surprise on 1862 School"; (c) an undated photograph (photocopy) of the Walton School; (d) an undated structure survey of the Walton School for the Massachusetts Historical Commission which includes a brief history of the school.
