A young boy, around seven years old, is dressed in a costume for a special religious event, probably a first holy communion or a confirmation of faith. The donor believes his identity might be Fred Pollano. He is wearing a jacket of hip length with pockets, a collar and a black tie and loose belt buttoned in the front. His hat is white with a circular brim. His pants end just below the knee and are loose-fitting. He is wearing black stockings and black shoes. The boy is holding a small prayer book in his hands. A short scarf is hanging over his right arm. Behind him, there is a bookcase and a window with a drape. The photograph was professionally taken at the studio of Frank Limanni at 197 Elm Street in Lawrence circa 1925 or 1929. The photograph is on the front side of a postcard.
