Apart of a series of photos from the Asia in Lawrence Exhibit from 1996, curated by Janet H. Howell, and photographed by Loel A. Poor, this image shows Jean Eh Say sitting and posing with a harp for her photo. Underneath the photo is a statement from Jean Eh Say, she said, " I was born in Pegu of Berma. I love my country and my people very much. Even if I can love other people here on this country- in a foreign country- why can't I love my people in my country. So that is the sad thing. But it's too bad, you know, when people are crazy about power- that is that worst thing. They have power, they have arms. The people in our country they don't have any arms , so they can't do anything.
