2022 Annual Appeal 2023 - THANK YOU!

As of January 31, 2023, thanks to 177 donors who gave between $1 and $3,500 (via Cash, Check, PayPal, PayPal Giving Fund, and/or Facebook Fundraisers), we have surpassed our $30,000 Annual Appeal fundraising goal by over 10%!

The average gift was $187.34. All amounts, above and below, are an investment in our mission to collect, preserve, share, and animate the history and heritage of Lawrence and its people.

To join the other 177 who supported our recent Annual Appeal, here's how:

  • Online:
    • Through the PayPal Giving Fund using your PayPal account. Our legal name is Immigrant City Archives dba Lawrence History Center. Preferred as we pay NO fees on these donations.

    • Through PayPal where you will be taken to a Paypal page where you can donate any amount you like using a credit card. You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to make a donation. Please consider making monthly donations via your credit card!

  • By mail: Mail your donation payable to: Lawrence History Center, 6 Essex Street, Lawrence, MA 01840

  • Stock Donation: If you are interested in making a gift via stock donation please contact Susan Grabski at director@lawrencehistory.org or 978-686-9230. A gift of stock may provide more benefits than a cash gift. When you make a gift of stock to LHC, by eliminating the capital gains tax that would be due upon selling the stock, you receive tangible tax-savings and benefits while also supporting our mission.
