This book is a comprehensive guide to the Catholic churches of the Archdiocese of Boston in 1895. Included in this book is a short history of each church as well as interior and exterior illustrations of the buildings and the prominent priests and church workers affiliated with them. Several Lawrence churches are featured in this book: Immaculate Conception Parish, St. Mary's Parish, St. Patrick's Church, St. Augustine's Parish, St. Anne's Parish, Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Protectory of Mary Immaculate and The Father Mathew Hall. Each of these has an accompanying history of the church along with photographs.
