Drawing of the Pemberton Mill collapse. There are groups of people in the foreground standing around the fallen building. There are piles of wood and some smoke indicating where the mill has collapsed. Buildings are seen in the background that are unaffected. Smokestacks and points to towers can be seen in the distance. The center of the photo is mainly rubble and smoke clouds. The bottom of the photo has writing that states: "Catastrophe - Falling of the Pemberton Mills at Lawrence Mass. On Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 10th - View of the ruins of the Pemberton Mills after the fire [?]. Washington Mills behind the centre ruin - From a sketch taken from Duck Mill by our own Art (?)."
