Poems and Addresses
A collection of poems and addresses by Emily Greene Wetherbee. This was a memorial volume of her verses that had been published in newspapers and magazines. (Emily Greene Wetherbee had contemplated this publication prior to her death). Her first work was published in 1878. She then continued writing and publishing in addition to teaching at Lawrence High School She also wrote prose under the nom de plume of Maria Green. The Wetherbee Grammar School in Lawrence was named in her honor.
