Book

This is a cookbook created by the city mission in Lawrence to be used by Lawrence citizens, particularly the women of grater Lawrence, as the inside cover of the book states. These are apparently some of the favorite recipes of the women living in greater Lawrence at the time, all compiled into one easy to use cookbook with pages upon pages of different recipes. Some pages even have basic helpful hints for cleaning around the house and maintaining a general cleanliness in the kitchen. The last few pages of the book contain several advertisements from Lawrence and Andover businesses. Aside from this basic information, the book is quite vague, as it has no date anywhere in its pages and no author either, just the contents of the book itself, the advertisements, and the name of the publisher.
