This is a book created by one Patricia A. Maurice, daughter of CPL. Robert A. Maurice, whom this book is about. This book is a photo book, with some descriptive text, that catalogues the life of Robert A. Maurice and more particularly his time served as part of the U.S. second infantry division during the Korean War. The book was compiled from a collection of Roberts’s old war photos, as well as family photos that Patricia put together, to tell the story of his life and his time in Korea, a story that he himself never fully told before his death in 2005. The photos that were copied and transferred to the pages of this book included writing from Robert himself on the back, which was also copied and transferred next to each respective photo. This, along with Patricia’s descriptions, creates a sort of narrative that ties each photo together, creating a unique photo biography of Robert.
