Title (generic)
Scrapbook
This is a very small, intricately crafted diary that once belonged to a member of the Cox family somewhere in Lawrence. The most unique aspect of this diary is its shape and size, as it is unusually small to be used as a journal, and has a clasp that needs to be undone to open and close the book. The contents of the diary are typical, day-to-day goings-on and family affairs, as well as weather and respective dates. Based on context clues, the owner of this diary was most likely a child in the Cox family, as school and week-day social outings are also frequent topics in the diary.
