Title
"The Bride Elect” Wedding Gift Registry
Title (generic)
Scrapbook
This is a rectangular book used for weddings to notate who is in attendance, what gifts they brought, and where they bought them. A woman named Ms. A. Howard Mcduff is noted as the bride-to-be on the first page of the book, next to a note that reads “Married, October 24th, 1906”. Over 300 people signed their names in for attendance and described their gifts in this book, many of the gifts being household items or items of clothing like dresses, shoes, ornate saucers, plates and chairs. Not one of the attendees was written in without a gift, though some simply wrote out the word “Check” along with a dollar amount.
