A black and white document with a red border/design, which looks very much like a stock certificate, but is labeled "The New Central Bridge - Approved Plan". It is a drawing/painting of the bridge and surrounding buildings along the Merrimack River. The Ayer Mill Clock Tower is prominently shown as well as smoke stacks from the mills, and what appears to be a church steeple. The document is labeled: "D.H.Davis, Civil Engineer, New York" "Copyrighted by Walter E. Rushforth, Critic Office, Lawrence, Mass" "Compliments of the Reid Hughes & Co."
