She is wearing a jewelry chain around her neck, but whatever pendant it holds is inside her dress.
Text on back of photograph: Santa Maria, 30 miles from Catanie. Came to Lawrence 1912 Born 1890 - died 1975. Married in 1912. Ayer Mills twisting room. She has 4 sons Joseph- dead, hairdressers: Sam [Florida], Frank- [Florida], Anthony- Born Oct. 17, 1927. Married in 1910, Salvatore. Jackson Beauty established in 1939.
