American flag and French flag which were placed at the grave of Alexander B. Bruce by Lawrence City Councilor Marc Laplante on April 25, 2017 at Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et-Nesles, France. Lt. Bruce was a member of the Lafayette Escadrille and the 94th Aero Squadron. He was killed in action August 17, 1918 while engaged in air combat over Cruaux, Chery-Chatreuve, France.
