A black and white photograph of the upper floor wool sorting room. It shows workers surrounded by baskets of raw wool being prepared for the sorting floor. After the wool is removed from the large cloth bags - apparently how it arrives at the mills - it is placed in large wicker baskets that sit on a cart with wheels that can be moved on the tracks running across the floor. Large pulleys run down bot sides of this room; they are apparently used to move the large bags and bales of raw wool in preparation to send the wool to the mill floor.
