Groundwork Lawrence is a non-profit environmental group that works with the city to build new green spaces, provide youth with outdoor education programs, and the community with fresh farmers markets. Little Sprouts, a childhood development program, celebrated their 25 year gala at Salvator's in Lawrence with a silent auction. Additionally, Lawrence born Robert Goulet passed away at age 73. He was a stage and screen actor who won Emmy, Tony, and Grammy awards.
