This is a graphite drawing of the 'Old Lawrence Free Public Library' building whose construction was completed in 1892, and was located on the corner of Hampshire and Haverhill Street. The building is shown with a patron walking down an exit ramp, and a 'horseless carriage' traveling down the street in front of the building.
