Title
The Evolution of Woman
Subtitle
An Inquiry Into The Dogma of Her Inferiority to Man
This author states that after many years of investigative study, she reached the conclusion in 1882 that the female gender is no way inferior to the male. She states that in 1886, after reading "The Decent of Man" by Darwin she concluded that the female "represents a higher state of development than the male." This is a very interesting book for any female to read in the 21st. Century, and to see how far (but not far enough) women have come. This book is part of the collection from the Lawrence Public Library which was being withdrawn from the collection.
