Book

As the title indicates, these stories contained in this book are radical histories assembled by people across the country. One such review on pg. 184 relates to the Massachusetts History Workshop which began in 1979. There is a reference to the Lawrence workshop which took place at the Masonic Temple on Jackson St., off the city common. One session was about the 1912 strike given by Angelo Rocco, and the second session was given by Daniel Downey who spoke of the 1930s and 1940s. The Radical Historians Organization was founded in 1973, to provide a forum for discussing new perspectives on the study and teaching of history.
