This book is intended to explain the life and achievements of Rev. Fr. James T. O'Reilly, pastor of St. Mary's Church for thirty-eight years. This book tells of his labors in Lawrence and vicinity in conjunction with his religious life. He was held in high esteem by the people of the community and was honored on his golden jubilee. It is quite amazing to read of all the things he accomplished during his priesthood in the city. This book was part of the collection of Dr. F.A. O'Reilly whose office was at 349 Haverhill St., and the inscription reads, "To my good friend and doctor from George P. Farrell, May 15, 1965.
