Leonard Bernstein: America's Maestro
This book is the life story of Leonard Bernstein who was born in Lawrence. He was originally named Louis but his parents decided he would be confused with his Uncle Louis so they legally changed his name to Leonard. He had a fascination for music from a very early age. His parents moved to the Boston area when he was very young and he attended Boston Latin as well as the Hebrew School. He went on to become one of the greatest composers and conductors.
