His father had a business, Rocco Lumber Co., in Methuen, and built houses in the Druid Hill neighborhood. The narrator's mother had a business, the Remnant Store, first on Essex St. and later on Cardillo Way. An important part of the interview is Angelo Rocco's philosophy and his respect for education.
