Self published book of poetry. Includes poem about the Pemberton Mill collapse, "Fall of the Pemberton Mills". From the Bread and Roses Centennial website: "City directories tell us that near the time of the booklet's publishing Mr. Hinchcliffe was working as the editor and printer of The Lawrence Journal and Citizen a weekly paper which billed itself as the "only Workingmen's paper published in Massachusetts." Mr. Hinchcliffe's partner and owner of the printing company, an English immigrant named Robert Bower, was one of Lawrence's most prominent labor leaders. Mr. Bower advocated for the 10 hour work day, was nominated by the Labor Reform Party for the House of Representatives and organized the National Labor Union in Lawrence. Mr. Hinchclife had a brother, whom he de3dicated the booklet of poetry to- John Hinchcliffe a prominent Miners' leader in Illinois and editor of his own workingmen's paper."
