Was located on the west bank of the Spicket River at Canal Street, Lawrence, Essex County, MA - producers of the paper for National Geographic Magazine in 1920
The building of the mill started in 1873. Champion International included the existing Wilder Mill, adding the new Mill #2. In 1928 Champion constructed Mill #3, moving everything to that location. Champion International remained the owner into 1958. At that time the mill became known as Oxford Paper Company. This mill complex is located at 38 Prospect Street.
