Title
Records of Families of the Name
Subtitle
Rawlins or Rollins in the United States
This is a book on genealogy of three brothers who arrived here between 1630 and 1680. They settled in Maryland and Virginia while others stayed in New England. Families in the Southern states wrote the family name as Rawlins while those in this area changed the spelling to Rollins a short time before the American Revolution, and other descendants from the same ancestors dropped the final "s".
There are obituaries for Annie Dennett, Judith Page, EA Blanding, Dr. A O Blanding, JS Rollins, Isadore Garland, Simon D. Page, True W. Rollins, Jonathan Rollins, Nathaniel C. Clough, Clarence Rollins Fowler, Mrs. JS Rollins, Sara Jane Ela, Stephen Greely Horne, Cephas Hallock Fowler, and Albert F. Cressey pasted to the final pages of the book.
