5' x 5' blanket made in commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the city of Lawrence. The blanket is cream, navy and maroon colored. Representations and creations dates of various Lawrence landmarks are stitched in to the blanket including: Essex County Court House, 1902, Oliver and High School, 1893, Public Library, 1892, Essex County Courthouse 1902, Grace Episcopal Church, 1851, Essex Company Headquarters, 1880 (though correct date is 1883), Arlington Mills, 1888 / Malden Mills, 1956, Theater row, 1940, High Service Water Tower, 1896, City Hall 1923.

The blanket was commissioned by the Lawrence Council on aging which is stitched on the bottom of the blanket.

There is a city of Lawrence seal in the center of the blanket and the words "Celebrate 150 years".
